Well I never!

Would you Adam and Eve it! A bloody update! Never!

Yeah I know I literally never ever ever update this thing any more, it's a combination of complacency, laziness and apathy. That and the fact that I literally hate my internet connection more than I hate Grays Anatomy. I haven't thought about that program for ages, let alone watch it, and when I thought about it whilst making a cup of tea earlier I got really tense for a minute, then relaxed when I had a word with myself and reassured me that I never have to see it again unless I'm A) being tortured or B) self-harming. It really is that annoying.

Anyway, enough of that. I do actually have stuff to put on here as you will certainly observe should you choose to scroll further on down the page. A few of these were being kept back for Ride (in fact I think they all were bar one or two) but didn't make it in there for whatever reason.

I suppose I should start off with Bruzas massive gap. This is the only one which made the mag, in fact it was the final frame on the Photo issue (latest issue) so I was well stoked on that. People who see this always ask if Bruza pulled it. Well yes he did, and as a result of landing so hard he broke his seat and left a rather sore looking friction burn in his arse crack, though that's probably not the first time he's sustained an injury of that kind. The tenner in his pants was off the old guy who, overwhelmed by what he's just witnessed, thought it only fitting to pay Bruza for the entertainment. Again, not for the first time, just the first time in his clothes.

Balls out!

Shake your money maker!

During that day we also re-shot that big barry down the Guild Hall steps which was pretty off the chain. Once again we got heckled by many a passer by, being right by Portsmouth uni's closest night spots. WEEEYYY! Do a backflip!!

Whilst in Basingstoke a while back we got in to the warehouse (I stuck up a pic of Mayo footplanting the wall remember) and shot a couple of pics of Bruza in there. Both the tricks over the box are to flat, there's no need for a landing where this boy is concerned.

I normally hate flashes in pics, but after doing a quick test shot from this angle decided they looked pretty cool! My opinion.

Chunky was killing the tiny spine at memorial park too, with stupidly dipped threes and sky high Tbog 180's

I had a bit of stuff in Ride last issue, it was the Uni article that I did with Dayson and Tinhead, I can't remember if I mentioned it. Anyway I shot a couple pics of Dayson down at the level for a Parkwarden article which they didn't use. Dayson is moving back here soon, and what with Merman having moved to London it would seem that my frequent visits to Brighton are going to become rather less frequent. Booo :(

That's as flat as it's going to get. Table 3.

This is a picture of BSD's Sean Lafferty doing a barspin through some trees. That's pretty much all there is to it. I took this shortly after fucking up that pic of Isaacs whip down that massive set of stairs. Go me. Look out for a BSD ad with this chap in it in an upcoming issue of Ride or Dig, I probably took it.

Umm, oh here are some pics of the fabled and rather elusive Cam Hardy. He's a slippery fish. Although not that slippery in this case as he came to me. If you ever need to get hold of Cam don't even bother trying, he doesn't even have a phone. Even homeless people have phones these days.

The sequences are a nosebonk 180 and 360 respectively. The 360 one was dialled in my book, but Cam wanted to do it again. Upon landing mostly on the front wheel he managed to puncture both front and back tyre. How a 3 stone boy riding a 12 ounce bike manages this I have no idea. In fact when riding from spot to spot it was a bit breezy and I had to make Cam carry my camera bag to stop him from blowing over. Bless.

The original reason for going to Farnham to take pics was to get a pic of this. It's a fair hop to flat, pretty simple pic but I like it.

After fixing the tubes we had time to shoot a couple of these massive floaty OPPOSITE 3s down the log, well corked.
Bosh!

In unrelated news I got a new camera. I'm in the Medium Format club now. It's something I've wanted a piece of for a while now having had a dabble with other peoples setups. I got a Bronica ETRS in the end which whilst I write this I have yet to use in anger. I am officially in love with this camera.
Incidentally if anyone cares I took the pic below in a home made studio type thing I saw on Strobist.

<3I might have mentioned it I can't remember but Florida was rad. I have some pics to stick up but I'm done for now, maybe in another month or something.

Sorry I'm rubbish. Frequent and rather more interesting updates are available on every other BMX website.
